 Harvest Food Bank

During Harvest Festival students and staff at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College collected 845 food items for Worcester Food Bank. This charitable action is part of the college’s commitment to Gospel Values and its place within Worcester City Community. Students enjoyed packing all the items into boxes and then visiting Worcester Food Bank to present them with the boxes. Principal, Sean Devlin said:‘It is terrible that more and more of people today in the 21st century in such a rich country have to rely on food hand outs and that the number is increasing on a monthly basis. Where have we gone wrong?’.
