New Year 7 Students in September

Dear Parent,

I hope this letter finds you well. We are looking forward to welcoming your child to Blessed Edward’s in September and I am sure they are excited about the new challenges and opportunities that await them. 

You may have heard that in September secondary schools have been asked to set up Asymptomatic Testing Sites like we did back in March.  Students, whose parents give consent will undertake two lateral flow tests in school.  You may be familiar with these lateral flow testing kits and you can get an idea of what the process entails by watching the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLAy2JoEzuQ

Please be assured that our experienced testing team will guide and support your child throughout the process.

We plan to test our new Year 7 students on their first day in school, Friday 3^rd September. They will then undertake a subsequent test during the following week.
