Monday 16th April 2018

Dear Parent,

I hope that you and your family have had a restful and relaxing Easter break and I look forward to a busy and productive Summer term.

I have had the opportunity to reflect on the achievements of year 7 during the course of last term and I am pleased to report the following achievements
- The final amount raised by year 7 for our Lenten charity is around £1300. This amounts to approximately £55 donated for each of the 24 days of a very short half term. This is an amazing achievement and reminds me of the generosity of spirit that exists in our College.
- An analysis of the reports shows that the vast majority of our students achieved a report with only good and outstanding grades awarded for effort and behaviour.
- 61 students achieved 100% attendance over the entire term.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to continue to monitor your child’s use of social media and how they use it to interact with other students outside of College. If you have any concerns about this, please contact us for advice on how to proceed. The website, www.thinkuknow.co.uk which contains lots of practical advice about staying safe online.

I would also like to thank you for your ongoing support of our uniform policy. Uniform is a way of showing that you and your child support the ethos and values of the College. Please note that, for girls, earrings should be one small pair of studs only and no other jewelry is allowed.

The summer term is always busy and this year it is no exception. Please put the following dates in your diary.
