Homework

Why Homework Matters at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College?

Homework plays a vital role in supporting your child’s learning journey. It helps reinforce what is taught in the classroom, encourages independent study skills, and builds good habits for lifelong learning. Research shows that students who regularly complete homework can make up to five months’ additional academic progress compared to those who do not [1]. Even short, regular homework task, just 15 minutes a day, have been shown to significantly boost achievement in subjects like maths and science [2]. By supporting your child with their homework, you are helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

KS3

All homework will be set on SENECA learning platform. Homework will be set on a Monday and will be due in on a Monday.
