Dear Parent,

The regulations, regarding permission for students to participate in trips has changed by the Government.  It is not necessary to request reply slips for each visit.  Below is a consent slip for all trips.  Please sign giving your child permission to go on such trips.  You will be informed of any trips in which your child will be involved.

CONSENT FORM FOR SCHOOL TRIPS AND OTHER OFF-SITE ACTIVITIES

Please sign and date the form below if you are happy for your child:

1. a)To take part in school trips and other activities that take place off college premises; and

1. b)To be given first aid or urgent medical treatment during any college trip or activity.

Please note the following important information before signing this form:

• The trips and activities covered by this consent include;

1. oAdventure activities during the college day
2. oOff-site sporting fixtures outside the college day.

• The college will send you information about each trip or activity before it takes place.
• You can, if you wish, tell the college that you do not want your child to take part in any particular college trip or activity.

Written parental consent will not be requested from you for the majority of off-site activities offered by the college – for example, Year group visits to local amenities – as such activities are part of the college’s curriculum and usually take place during the normal college day.
